Streamlined Magnet Application Manual Release Planned for 2008

The American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) has been asked many questions about the next issue of the Magnet Application Manual.

The current version is dated 2005. Many revisions have gone into effect since this printing. To ensure that you have the latest version, check the "Manual Updates" page of this site.

An updated application manual will be released in 2008. We have heard your comments and are working to make the entire application process easier. We are continually striving to make the Magnet Recognition Program ® better and we anticipate a more streamlined manual in 2008.

As part of our effort to incorporate your feedback, a draft of the updated manual will be posted for comment prior to the final release.

Applicant organizations scheduled to submit documentation in 2008 may use either the 2005 or the 2008 manual.
