Accreditation Program Application Manual
The manual provides an overview of the ANCC accreditation program; policies, procedures, and criteria for accredited organizations to implement the program; and application forms/formats and instructions for applying for accredited status. NOTE: Only ANA Constituent Member Associations (CMAs), specialty nursing organizations, and federal nursing services are eligible to be approvers.

- $35/manual when purchasing 6-10 copies
- $30/manual when purchasing 11 or more copies

To order a printed manual or CD, call 1-800-637-0323 and order by name and product code:
- 2006 Manual for Accreditation as an Approver or Provider of Continuing Nursing Education: APMAN-F
- 2006 Manual for Accreditation as an Approver or Provider of Continuing Nursing Education on CD: APMANCD-F
If you are considering applying for accreditation as either a provider or an approver or both, this manual is essential for understanding all the criteria and submission requirements. All application materials are included. Note: Applications may be submitted on CD-ROMs, but hard copies are also required.
Intent to Apply
So that the accreditation staff may plan for upcoming application cycles, advance notification of your organization's intent to apply for accreditation is requested. This will also serve to alert us if your application materials are not received by the deadline. An intent to apply form is not an application; it simply serves to hold your organization's place in an upcoming cycle. This indication of intent does not obligate your organization to apply.
