The American Nurses Association, American Nurses Credentialing Center and American Nurses Foundation (collectively, "ANA") retain the right to restrict or deny the use of their respective registered or unregistered copyrighted works.
Permission to use is limited by each specific request, requestor, and designated use. Permission is not transferable unless expressly stated in the license agreement. ANA strictly prohibit the creation of derivative works (such as, without limitation, translations, alterations, abridgments, etc.) and does not grant permission for unknown future technologies or exclusive rights. All requestors are expected to supply to ANA, free of charge, the work or product encompassing the requested ANA intellectual property.
To request permission, please click below on the appropriate link for the type of ANA material you wish to use. Permission must be requested in writing by completing the "Copyright Permission Request Form" by clicking the submit button once the form is complete.
Once the request has been evaluated and approved by appropriate staff, you will receive an email from us for you to agree to the permission terms using Docusign. It is very important to ensure your email address is correct.
Permission requests are handled in the order that they are received. Please allow a minimum of two (2) weeks for ANA to process your request. Should we need to contact you for clarification, this will reset the process clock.
The American Nurses Credentialing Center is part of the ANA Enterprise, which comprises the American Nurses Association, the American Nurses Credentialing Center, and the American Nurses Foundation.
