Any organization intending to apply for ANCC Accreditation has the option of obtaining a preliminary review of their Self Study Document prior to the Accreditation Appraisal process. This preview will enable the applicant to best prepare its documentation for review. Missing or incomplete documentation, or documentation reflecting non-compliance, can delay or prevent accreditation. This preview service increases the likelihood of the organization achieving a review without non-compliances.

For a fee, ANCC offers a Desk-top Review:

Four-six months¹ prior to the intended Self Study documentation submission date, the applicant will submit a draft of its Self Study documents for pre-assessment review. An ANCC consultant will evaluate the documents and provide a report that identifies areas of the Self Study that the applicant may want to strengthen before submitting the final application.

Cost:  $1,075

¹Applicants applying for the first time for accreditation must meet all eligibility requirements prior to initiation of the pre-assessment audit.
