  1. Submission of the Self Study Document
    •  Optional: For an additional fee, applicants may choose to receive a Pre-Assessment Audit on the effectiveness of their Self Study Document. This preview report will show how the applicant’s processes, capacity, and outcomes compare to the ANCC Accreditation Program criteria. Learn more about this service.

    •  There is a fee for submitting the Self Study Documents. Please check the Fee Schedule for an estimate of charges. An invoice will be sent when ANCC receives the Self Study Document.

  2. ANCC assigns at least two peer reviewers to evaluate of the Self Study Documents
    • Clarification, verification, and amplification of the Self Study information may be requested.
  3. Accreditation Decision
    • The Commission on Accreditation, recognized for its expertise in the field of continuing education and appointed by the ANCC Board of Directors, makes the accreditation decision following review of the Self Study Document reports.
