Event Details
The ANCC Accreditation Program will hold a New Applicant Workshop for organizations interested in applying to become an ANCC Accredited Provider/Approver. The workshop is also intended for NEW Lead Nurse Planners, Nurse Planners, Nurse Peer Review Leaders and/or Nurse Peer Reviewers. The workshop will include an overview of the 2015 Primary Accreditation educational design process, interpretation of criteria, understanding the application and review process, and awarding of accreditation. Participants successfully completing the activity will be awarded 6.75 contact hours.

The ANCC Accreditation Program identifies organizations worldwide that demonstrate excellence in continuing nursing education (CNE). Accredited organizations use evidenced-based ANCC criteria to plan, implement and evaluate the highest quality CNE activities.

Providers are organizations in any country that develop CNE activities using ANCC criteria.
Approvers are organizations in the US that approve CNE providers for compliance with ANCC criteria.

ACCREDITED PROVIDER WORKSHOP

Event Details 
The ANCC Accreditation Program will be holding a Provider Workshop for Accredited Providers. This workshop is only for organizations that are currently accredited or organizations going through the accreditation process. Content is tailored to enhance or improve the professional development of the Lead Nurse Planner to include but is not limited to structural capacity of the provider unit, focused evaluation of the provider unit, narrative writing, and developing/evaluating quality outcomes. . Participants successfully completing this activity will be awarded 6.75 contact hours.

Event Details

The ANCC Accreditation Program will be holding an Accredited Approver Workshop for organizations currently accredited as approvers (C/SNA, FNS, SNO, or OA).  The approver workshop will focus on the professional development Nurse Peer Review Leaders/Nurse Peer Reviewer. Content will focus on roles and responsibilities of the Nurse Peer Review Leader, breakdown of the 2015 ANCC Accreditation criteria to include processes for ensuring adherence and compliance with reviewing applications This workshop is for Nurse Peer Review Leaders and Nurse Peer Reviewers ONLY. Participants successfully completing this activity will be awarded 6.75 contact hours.
